Essential Health Benefits

 
    Changes to Essential Health Benefits as of January 1, 2015, include:
  • Private dury nursing will be limited to 90 days per benefit period.
  • Biofeedback will be considered a non-Essential Health Benefit and not covered.
  • Transportation, meals and lodging for organ and tissue transplants will have a $10,000 maximum per transplant. Expenses for searching for an unrelated donar will have a $30,000 maximum per transplant.
